Nature Walk at McLeod

Thursday, June 22, 2017

If you linked to this page from the email newsletter, the correct date of the program is Thursday, June 22. We apologize for the misprint.
Go on a naturalist-guided walk at McLeod Plantation Historic Site. We will discuss how this former plantation has impacted nature, and nature’s impact on it as well. We will discuss the urban wildlife, site-specific ethno-botany, and soundscapes while taking in the beauty of the plantation. Please bring water and bug spray, and be prepared for the heat and sun.

No preregistration required.

A paid chaperone is required for participants ages 15 and under.

Park fees, operating schedules, and hours are subject to change without notice.
